Client Requirement:
- The client was an Asian Central Bank who had legacy technology solutions built around a core end to end solution, which had been in place for over 15 years. To remediate limitations within this core system, bespoke modules had been developed and add-on systems implemented in the surrounding technology environment.
Our Engagement
- Review existing workflows & controls and advice on industry best practice for both. Deep dive into exante investment risk, performance attribution models and benchmark rebalancing methodologies
- Advice on exiting systems vendor, including strengths and weaknesses of potential vendors with an initial long list
- Work with internal IT to review solutions architecture and preferences for technology stack for new solutions

- Future ”to be” workflow design for front, middle and back workflows
- Target Operating Model consisting of the above + Future solutions architectue as well as resource planning
